FEED Our horses have access to hay at all times. We buy roundbales wrapped in plastic and use a Hay Hut to protect the roundbale from the elements. To complete their nutrition, our horses receive a daily vitamin/mineral supplement called HS-35. For salt intake, they have available free choice a wonderful salt product called Redmond Salt. We have three old horses that require additional forage intake due to poor and missing teeth. To supplement these older horses, we use ADM Hay Pellets for forage and MoorGlo for fat calories. Our goats are on 100% pasture from May until the end of September. During that time, they have available as free-choice: angora mineral mix, baking soda, and redmond salt. From October to the end of April, our goats have access to hay at all times and receive on a daily basis ADM 16% protein complete pelleted feed medicated with dequinate. We buy in bulk and sell the products that we use. We also round out our color offerings by including several white angoras in our herd.
