Minuet was the first doe to kid. She gave us 2 bucklings. We named them McIntosh and Adagio. |
Dierdre went next. She gave us a light red doe (Colette) and a brown buckling (Sage). |

I think this is Trixie. So many look alike and it is hard to tell who is who when they aren't with their moms. |

Becky's buckling. He is huge and was very weak when he was born. We gave him a shot of Bo-Se, some Nutri-drench, and tube fed him some of mama's milk. He just seemed to be slowly slipping away. I laid him down on a clean towel and covered him up. A cat curled up on top of him and I was going to let him slowly drift away. About four hours later he let out a squak and tried to get up. I tube fed him again and then brought him into the house and put him in the dog kennel in the kitchen. My aunt Joyce, who came to help with kidding, got him up on his feet with lots of love and attention. She also got him going good on a bottle. He is going to be just fine. Such a handsome buckling. We named him Champ. |
